Would you like to learn how to get more comfortable and consistent gaits from your gaited horse?
Julie will share her successful training methods with you to develop a sound naturally gaited, confident horse that is a pleasure to ride whether in the show ring, on the trail or on the ranch.

Friday, January 20th – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. •

 Demonstrations of the natural gaits – Missouri Fox Trotter, TWH, Spotted Saddle Horse, Paso Fino, Peruvian Paso, Mangalarga Marchador, Kentucky/Rocky Mountain Horse, etc.
 • Demonstration of “First Step” - Starting your Gaited Horse under saddle - Gaining your young horse’s respect and trust to build a true partnership with your gaited horse.

 Saturday, January 21st – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Showing your Gaited Horse – What Judges are looking for Get the winning edge in the show ring whether competing in Performance, Versatility, Ranch Horse, or Competitive Trail.

Sunday, January 22nd – 10 a.m - 5 p.m. •

Trail riding your Gaited Horse – Conditioning, speed control and developing comfortable ground covering gaits.

De-Spook training that builds confidence in the horse and rider.

Julie Moore has been a professional trainer for over 35 years in multiple disciplines. She conducts gaited horse clinics across the country using natural horsemanship and dressage principles to develop natural gaits and enhance the relationship between riders and their horses. She is an IJA Judge for Friends of Sound Horses and has been an MFTHBA Judge since 2001.
