When do you join us on the trail?

This trail is already a classic event, offered by the Miller- Ranch. During the past years the Miller-Ranch always had two trails into the Land of the Navajos to the Monument Valley.
In 1992 the Miller-Ranch visited the Monument Valley for the first time with their Fox Trotting Horses that is now 17 years ago. We needed a guide. Nesswood was recommend to us by his uncle Ad Black. Ad was operating a Stable and offered horseback riding into the Monument Valley.
Much has changed since. Horseback riding in the Valley is very much restricted now. One needs an invitation from a Navajo family living there. Ad has closed the Stable. What remains – Nesswood still rides with the Miller-Ranch. He was introduced to the Fox Trotter for the first time in 1992; since 1993 he owns his own Fox Trotting Horse.
The last promotion trail offered by the Miller-Ranch in 2009 was again into the Monument Valley. The guests are Arik and Ella Brandel from Israel and Chris Moog from California. Chris bought “Pancho’s La Paloma M.R.” from the Miller-Ranch last June and wanted to join this trail with his mare. In Ella’s and Arik’s stable one can find “Jazz’s Kodak Moment” from the Miller-Ranch. Hannah, the proud owner, bought this mare in 2006 during a trail to the Monument Valley and she is riding her today in the Holy Land. Arik and Ella have heard much from Hannah and her friends about the Miller-Ranch and their Fox Trotting Horses; also about the trails into the Monument Valley and now they became very curious.

It is October 2nd; Chris arrived with his trailer already yesterday because he will take back to California “La Paloma M.R.” when we finish this trail. Today Ella and Arik arrive from Tel Aviv. They will certainly be very tired after this long flight; that is what we assumed. But they are not ..

Supai is located on a sidepath of the Grand Canyon. There are just living 450 Indian inhabitants.
We have been there several times with our Missouri Fox Trotters. The scenery is unbeatable and we are riding down the Canyon on wide trails and also riders having difficulties with steep slopes can do it with no problems.
There is an article about this trail under Miller-News Trail 2004, you can print it as a pdf.
We take for this trail max.6 guests.
