WHEN DESTINY IS CALLING..

Always when destiny is calling, time is out for the creature in question. How sad it might be for the relatives and friends left behind, this is the course of the world. All life born into this world also will end at some point, when the time has come- sometimes too early.

Grey Boy´s Amber got the call on June 17, 2010. With her the Miller-Ranch lost one of their best brood mares at the age of only 13 years through an infectious colic. According to the veterinarian she had less than 10 minutes and she even did not sense falling to the ground.

She was the dam of Aladin´s Arabella M.R. World Champion Open 4- Years, Arizona´s Outlaw M.R. World Champion Open 3- Years, World Grand Champion Open 3- Years, World Champion Open 5+ and World Grand Champion R Open 5+.

She left behind her foal, just 3 months old, Leonard´s Amazone M.R.

Only few weeks have passed since her daughter “Aladin’s Arabella M.R.” had an accident during transportation to Houston and had to be put to sleep.

Amber’s last son Legend Outlaw´s Maximus M.R. will leave for Europe beginning of 2011. He has the talent of his siblings and will be able to show Europe what loss the breed suffered by losing this mare.

Amber is the half sister to Legend’s Little Princessand we had already an option on her before she was born. The reason we bought her was because of the quality and the success of Little Princess, who has won almost everything there was. Little Princess and GMC Black Velvet were the best horses at this time at Milller-Ranch. Amber was always used as a brood mare, she was never shown . She just got her Basic Training and the First Step. But as a brood mare she was an outstanding producer – we shall always remember her.

The Miller-Ranch has just her last daughter left Leonard´s Amazone M.R. whose sire is a son of GMC Black Velvet This combination is very promising, but a long time will pass, before Amazone can prove the quality of her pedigree. She is living now with the foal herd and soon she will have overcome the loss of her mother. see PDF..
