Chase’s Bodacious Bonnie – A True Missouri Foxtrotter Gem

Chase’s Bodacious Bonnie, affectionately known as “Bonnie” on the Miller-Ranch, is one of the most outstanding Missouri Foxtrotter broodmares we’ve ever had the privilege to work with. This exceptional mare, DNA-tested and confirmed PSSM-negative by the University of Minnesota, stands for everything the Missouri Foxtrotter breed is known for: elegance, intelligence, soundness, and heart.

Bonnie passed her official breeding soundness examination (ZTU) with excellent results and earned a score of 6.58 at the European breed inspection, which qualified her for entry into Missouri Foxtrotter Europe’s Studbook I. Her pedigree and presence make her a true treasure for any breeder. Daughters of Sundust E. are incredibly rare and highly valued – few breeders are ever willing to part with them.

A Mare of Grace and Gait

Bonnie’s presence is captivating. She’s people-oriented, gentle, and simply beautiful. She would have placed at the top of any performance class thanks to her natural rhythm, presence, and balanced conformation. A Missouri Foxtrotter like Bonnie is truly something special – not only a mare of superb quality, but also a legacy builder.

A Legacy Written in Hoofprints

Bonnie gifted the Miller-Ranch with 11 foals sired by five different stallions, a testament to her versatility and reliability as a broodmare. Her offspring have found loving homes across the United States and Europe, continuing the Missouri Foxtrotter tradition with pride and grace. One of her most notable foals is Arizona Outlaw’s Street Dancer M.R. (2017), Leonard´s Cuba Libre M.R. (2010) Legend Outlaw’s Zuni M.R., ore Velvet’s Touchdown M.R.  The are impressive example of the breed.

Two of her daughters – Arizona Outlaw’s Antonia M.R. and Nabucco’s Semiramis M.R. – remain at the Miller-Ranch as foundation broodmares. Bonnie’s grandchildren, such as King’s Don Quixote M.R. and King’s Prima Donna M.R., are already showing promise and carrying the Missouri Foxtrotter legacy into the next generation.

A Beautiful Retirement Story

At the age of 21, Bonnie was retired from breeding and took on a new role as a guest trail horse – strong, surefooted, and eager to please. Now, at 25 years old, she has found a loving new home with Lee, just an hour’s drive from the Miller-Ranch. Lee, himself enjoying his retirement years, is still actively riding the trails of Arizona. Bonnie will now continue to do what she loves most – exploring the desert trails with a gentle hand and a kind soul by her side. Together, they’ll share many joyful rides, bonded by mutual respect and the spirit of the Missouri Foxtrotter.

On her lush, green pasture, Bonnie enjoys her well-earned rest – still full of life, still proudly representing the breed she helped shape. Chase’s Bodacious Bonnie remains a shining example of everything a Missouri Foxtrotter can and should be.
